Automated systems
STORAGE
At its modern industrial plant, Cotagro has a storage capacity of 55,000 tons of peanuts in shell, distributed in 5 covered storage units equipped with advanced technology that carefully controls temperature and humidity, ensuring optimal storage conditions year-round.


RAW PEANUTS
Upon arrival at the industrial plant, the peanuts in shell from the field are sampled and subjected to laboratory analysis to determine their quality. Additionally, aflatoxin control is performed using HPLC chromatography.
If necessary, peanuts undergo a drying process before being stored in covered storage units. They then go through various stages, including pre-cleaning, shelling, mechanical separation, electronic sorting, and final calibration before packaging.
BLANCHING
Cotagro operates two independent blanching lines with similar features.
The process begins with peanut drying in an oven to facilitate skin removal.
Next, the peanuts pass through a blanching system and are sorted using electronic machines.
Finally, they undergo X-ray and metal detection before final packaging.


SPECIALITIES
In our Specialities industrial plant, grains enter the facility, are sampled, and subjected to laboratory analysis to assess their quality.
They are then conditioned and stored in silos before processing, which involves a series of mechanical operations aimed at removing foreign material. The product also undergoes electronic selection, calibration, and final packaging.

PACKAGING
The products are packaged in 1250 kg or 1300 kg polypropylene raffia big bags.


AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SYSTEM
Based on client requirements, products can be packed in 20, 25, or 50 kg polypropylene and poly-paper bags.
This process is carried out in-house using an automated transfer and palletizing system.
WAREHOUSES
We have a storage capacity of 15,000 tons of finished product, distributed across three warehouses and a refrigerated facility, ensuring the necessary conditions for product quality and safety.
